A Celestial Seasonings Taste Test
Candy Cane Lane Green Tea Decaf
I received a sample pack of Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Green Tea Decaf from Influenster for testing purposes. I regularly drink green tea, but not flavored kinds, but I am very familiar with the Celestial Seasonings brand. When my daughter couldn't fall asleep at night and I really didn't want to give her Melatonin because she was only 6 or 7 years old. I found Celestial Seasoning Sleeping time tea at a grocery store. Since then whenever I can't fall asleep I drink Sleeping time tea and it had helped me fall asleep. This time I tried Candy Cane flavored green tea. I opened the package and I could it smelled minty and slightly sweet, like a candy cane. I brewed the tea and had my first sip. I thought "I don't know how to describe this", but I am not a fan of this tea. After a couple of sips I tasted green tea and minty sweet. It is mild tea. The Package says you can add sugar or milk. To me, sugar and milk don't go with green tea. I understand this if it were English tea, but not green. Anyways, I thought the second cups of tea had more of a smooth taste. It was the festive flavors and holiday tastes.
